The Huffington post is reporting this evening on a Montana TV station that did not air the recording of candidate Gianforte's altercation with reporter Ben Jacobs. NBC affiliate KECI said it "takes pride in reporting only verifiable facts from independent, reliable sources, officials and documents." Read more here:

Gallatin County Clerk and Recorder Charlotte Mills says she saw 274 same-day registrations today — not a huge number.Turnout at the polls, though, was significantly higher than the average primary election. By 10:30 a.m., Mills estimated 2,890 voters had visited a poll in person.All that's according to Troy Carter, who's stringing for the Associated Press tonight.

Gallatin County elections chief Mills also predicted a large number of provisional ballots — "as many or more than we had in November." They won't be counted for a few days until their identification/addresses are verified, Carter at the Courthouse noted.Gallatin County had 1,100 provisional ballots in November's election.
