John Hodges sentencing

John David Hodges, a 53-year-old transient, is being sentenced for a felony charge of criminal endangerment in the Aug. 25, 2013 shooting of Robert Black. Hodges was initially charged with attempted homicide but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge in July. Hodges has been held in the Gallatin County jail on $1 million bail since his arrest. He will be sentenced today by Gallatin County District Court Judge Mike Salvagni.
