City manager and police chief apologize to city commission. They did not let commission know before they applied for grant for new armored rescue vehicle. It was received in May and training just finished at end of August. Grant paid for entire vehicle.
Mayor Krauss said he learned about the city's new armored vehicle when he was on Facebook Friday night. He's not convinced the city needs it. The grant used to pay for it will go back before the commission at a future meeting
