Commissioner Pomeroy: " Everyone is welcome here. That is why I support this ordinance.”
Commissioner Andrus: "We are simply looking at an ordinance that treats all people equally and fairly and I support the non-discrimination ordinance.”
Two amendments proposed by deputy mayor pass 4-0. 3rd fails for lack of second
Taylor: Churches and private religious schools can handle bathrooms how they want.
Commissioner Mehl said he has heard from people in Bozeman that have convinced him discrimination exists here.
